The November 14th “Art Crawl Experience”

"Art Crawl Experience” or simply “ACE” an auditory explosive art walk and arts festival that takes place on Saturday, November 14th, from 6pm-10pm in what has been acclaimed by local artisans as the Downtown Anaheim Arts District. ACE was created by artists and community leaders with the intent of bringing arts and culture downtown by showcasing art in public places, street artisans, pop-up galleries, and the brick-and-mortar galleries. During the evening of an ACE, attendees stroll amongst outdoor permanent art fixtures, such as Peter Shire’s illuminated birdhouse sculptures, to discover artists demonstrating their creative process live for curious onlookers. The indie craft fair at ACE is a cascade of canopies containing unique hand-crafted treasures. Gourmet food trucks rally, and local entertainers perform throughout the experience. Participating downtown eateries and shops transform their spaces into one-night pop-up galleries, while the latest art exhibits are revealed at brick-and-mortar galleries, including Grey Star Gallery and MUZEO.

MUZEO will be offering half price admission for ACE attendees into ‘King Tut "Wonderful Things" from the Pharoah's Tomb.’ Ten years in the making, this dazzling collection of 131 replicas of Tutankhamun’s legendary treasures recreates the richest archaeological find of all time. Carefully recreated by the artisans of the Pharaonic Village in Giza, Egypt and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, this collection is larger and more complete than any previous exhibition of original artifacts. Displayed in open glass cases, King Tut includes replicas of the pharaoh’s sacred and personal possessions along with associated artifacts from the period surrounding Tutankhamen’s reign.

RARE by Goodwill will be exhibiting art work donated by various artist, some of the featured art was created by local artists. The art will be available at our store and online.

HEALTHY JUNK’s artfully-crafted vegan comfort food special will be Fall Lasagna with acorn squash, spinach and grilled tofu topped with pumkin’ seed pesto.

Long Beach based artist Corey "Wolf" Wolford blends street art techniques with a surrealist approach to playfully capture the imagination in his work. Wolf's work will be on display during ACE at The Yoga Mat. This exhibition will include work from his two most recent series entitled "We Are All Spacedust" and "Thoughts On Thoughts" both of which are visual explorations into the nature of our deepest self.
